Uganda 3-0 Niger

Uganda Cranes ended their Chan finals build-up in Yaounde with a 3-0 victory over Niger, with Milton Karisa scoring a brace.

Said Kyeyune netted Uganda’s other goal as the Cranes made it two victories and a draw in three build-up matches.

Uganda scored six goals against one in their preparations, with the first match against Cameroon ending 1-1, 2-0 over Zambia and now Niger.

Karisa’s first goal came on the third minute before he turned provider seven minutes later, creating for Kyeyune to make it 2-0.

Joachim Ojera’s mazy run through the middle, where he beat a couple of Niger defenders, ended with Karisa making it 3-0 on 14 minutes.

The second half was largely uneventful, with both teams playing a calculative game.
