Tooro United 1-0 Bul
Allan Kayiwa scored the game’s only goal as Tooro United won their first StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) match since moving to Wankulukuku on Tuesday.
The 1-0 victory moved coach Wasswa Bbosa’s men one place up to sixth on 36 points, with their day’s victims, 10-man Bul, just above them on as many marks.
Patrick Ssembuya was the other unfortunate highlight for Bul as he received marching orders following a second yellow card in injury time.
Tooro were playing their home game at their new Wankulukuku ‘home’ after leaving Buhinga Stadium – where they never lost a game since moving there last year.
They moved after Buhinga was sealed off by government to start constructing a new stadium there as pledged by President Museveni.
Kayiwa gave Tooro the lead on eight minutes and the hosts held onto the striker’s seventh goal of the campaign to see out maximum points.
