Defender Isaac Muleme and goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan will not be part of KCCA manager Mike Mutebi’s plans when the second round of the Uganda Premier League kicks off and Caf Champions League starts in February.
Mutebi has indicated that Muleme and Ochan are now surplus to requirements at the Lugogo club.
The two are actually not part of the provisional squad forwarded to Caf by KCCA recently.
“Muleme betrayed our trust. I have lined up youngsters Mustapha Kizza, Herbert Achai and Hassan Musana to fill his void,” said Mutebi.
“We also believe that custodians Thomas Ikara, Jamal Maliyamungu and Charles Lukwago can do the job instead of Ochan.”
Muleme is reportedly in Egypt trying to seal a move while Ochan’s deal to Zambian side Nkana Red Devils is said to have hit a dead end.
