- Proline Vs KCCA – StarTimes stadium, Lugogo 4.30pm
KCCA renew hostilities with rivals Proline in the Lugogo derby on Tuesday afternoon with an aim to go top of the log.
The back to back league champions will go top with victory over Mujib Kasule’s side who are now winless in four league outings.
Kasule admits it will be tough to stop a free scoring KCCA side that has netted 16 goals against one in the previous four league games but promises to raise up.
“We know KCCA is good, they have good players and are defending champions,” he said. “They need this match but we also need it very much because we have not been winning so hopefully, we can raise up,” he added.
The 12th placed Proline on 11 points may miss the services of flying winger Sula Matovu who missed the last training session but will hope Fahad Bayo is in the mood on the day.
Mike Mutebi expects a spectacle against a side who believe in good football but says his target is to go top and keep there for the rest of the season.
“It’s going to be a stiff challenge and I believe both sides will represent themselves well by playing good football,” he told the press. “Proline is a good side with a coach who believes in playing good football so it’s going to be an interesting game,” he added.
“But our target is to win and go top of the table and stay there till the end of the season.
Muhammad Shaban and Timothy Awany are doubtful for the Kasasiro but whether they play or not, the visitors have ably equal replacements.
