Log leaders KCCA have a chance to open a five point gap at the top of the table when they host Busoga United at Lugogo on Friday.

The thirteen time champions sit top of the standings with 26 points, two better than second, third and fourth placed Vipers, BUL and Wakiso Giants who are not in action on Friday.

And with Vipers taking on BUL on Saturday, a win for the Kasasiro could ensure they finish the first round as table leaders.

Morley Byekwaso understands it will be a tough game despite the difference in the positioning on the table.

“We can’t underestimate Busoga United because of their position because we saw how they did when they played Wakiso Giants,” he told the club media.

“But we are confident at the moment and if we play the way we do, we shall win,” he added.

KCCA will look to Allan Okello, Moses Waiswa, Muhammad Shaban and Julius Poloto for inspiration.
