KCCA chance to widen gap at the top

Wednesday Fixture

  • KCCA Vs Bul – StarTimes stadium, Lugogo 4pm Live on TV

Former immediate champions KCCA have an opportunity to open a six point gap if they can beat Bul at Lugogo on Wednesday.

The 12-time league winners are buoyed by the return of Ibrahim Sadam Juma from injury but also news that their closest rivals this season, Vipers dropped points at Tooro.

Morley Byekwaso, who will be the man in command for a fourth time with Mike Mutebi serving his last match of the four match touchline ban is confident of getting a good result.

“The games are tough at the moment,” he admitted. “But I don’t think we have done as bad as we are portrayed after picking points away Mbarara (4th) and Bright Stars (8th),” he added.

What is worrying for the Kasasiro is the low rate of conversion having scored just once in three goals – a penalty against Onduparaka but in Allan Kyambadde, Patrick Kaddu and Mike Mutyaba, they have a force going forward to reckon with.

Bul come into the game confident after picking a last minute win over Express.
