KCCA will host their Caf Confederation Cup game second leg tie against AS Kigali at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende, the club has confirmed.
This after their MTN Omondi stadium failed the Caf stadium inspection test with the Africa’s football governing body passing Kitende.
“KCCA FC will host AS Kigali in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup, first-round game at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende,” KCCA confirmed on the website.
“After an inspection of Stadiums in Uganda, CAF notified KCCA FC that MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo was not eligible to host this edition’s CAF games.
“CAF accredited St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende and deemed it fit to host CAF games.
KCCA FC then hired St Mary’s Stadium Kitende for the return leg game against AS Kigali that will be on Wednesday 6th January 2021, 1600 EAT.
KCCA trail the first leg 2-0 after failing to raise the required number for the game against the Rwanda side in the first leg.
