The KCCA XI that started against Vipers SC

Reigning league champions will be out to make amends against Kirinya Jinja SS when they host Charles Ayiekoh’s side at Lugogo on Wednesday.

Mike Mutebi’s side have gone two successive games without victory and find them five points adrift of log leaders SC Villa after 13 games.

The Kasasiro lost to Proline (2-1) and drew goalless with Mbarara City in their last game which makes the game against Kirinya a must win if they are to keep hopes of retaining the crown.

Last season, the Jinja based side were easily thrashed at the same venue despite picking a point off the champions in Jinja and psychologically, the hosts have an advantage.

Derrick Nsibambi and Muhammad Shaban, fresh from international duty will lead the line with youngster Allan Okello also expected to return to the starting eleven.

The visitors will rely on Ibrahim Kayiwa, Musa Esenu and goalie Tom Ikaara for inspiration.
