KCCA 0-0 Express
StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) leaders, KCCA, squandered a chance to open up a significant lead at the summit after being held to a goalless draw by Express at Lugogo.
Coach Morley Byekwaso’s men have now drawn with Express, Vipers and SC Villa.
The result at the MTN Omondi Stadium keeps them top on 28 points from 12 matches.
They have, however, played a game more than Vipers, who they lead by two points.
The reigning champions, Express, are fifth with 20 points from 12 matches.
KCCA showed more intent going forward, with the best chance falling to striker Sadat Anaku.
But his well struck drive was tipped over by Express goalkeeper Denis Otim on 57 minutes.
John Revita and company will also pride themselves in keeping Express danger man Eric Kambale silent.
Not that Express did not have chances of their own.
Two glorious goal scoring opportunities fell to Charles Musiige and Godfrey Lwesibawa but both failed in execution.
