KCCA FC widened the gap from their contenders on the Uganda Premier League Log following a comprehensive 4-1 win away against SC Victoria University.
Captain Denis Okot broke the deadlock for KCCA inside eleven minutes as the side went to double the lead before half time through Derrick Nsibambi.
Jackson Nunda notched the third after the break but Swaib Kakwaya pulled a consolation back for the hosts who have never beaten KCCA since promotion to the top tier division.
URA FC 2-0 Police FC
Robert Ssentongo and youngster Shafik Kagimu strikes saw off Police FC as URA FC matched home with a resounding victory in the Uganda Premier League.
The two sides came into the game on the back of losses suffered on Tuesday and they remained tied at half time.
Ssentongo netted his eleventh goal of the League before Kagimu capped the evening with another for the tax men.
Express FC 4-0 Sadolin Paints
Express FC walloped Paints in another thriller of the Uganda Premier League, prodigal sons Noah Ssemakula and Simon Sserunkuma both on the score sheet at Wankulukuku.
The opener came through in the 35th minute by Ssemakula who who returned to the club after leaving URA FC last month.
Tony Odur doubled the lead from the spot after Ronald Lukungu handled in the area, before Sserunkuma; a returnee from Tanzania’s Simba grabbed the third on the 90thminute mark.
Yaffesi Mubiru found the fourth in the second minute of added time.
BUL F.C 1-1 Jinja Municipal Council Hippos F.C
BUL and Jinja Municipal Council Hippos settled for a 1-1 draw a match that was televised live to millions of soccer thirsty fans across from Kakindu stadium.
Robust forward, Mustapha Mugoya, gave Municipal the lead, just nine minutes into the game but Yunus Sibira made the amends mid-way the second half with a sublime finish and the game ended all square.
It was Sibira’s second goal in two successive matches as JMC Hippos accumulated 23 points, one better of rivals BUL F.C as the two sides lie 9th and 10th on the 16 team table standings.
