KCCA Vs. Onduparaka – Star Times Stadium, Lugogo (Live on Azam TV, 4:00pm)

Mbarara City Vs. Bright Stars– Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara

Maroons Vs. URA– Luzira Prisons Grounds

Soana Vs. Masavu FC – Kavumba Recreation Centre

The Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) resumes on Tuesday with defending champions, KCCA, among the four encounters lined up.

Newcomers Masavu travel to Kavumba to face Soana, buoyant Mbarara City welcome Bright Stars while URA visit Maroons.

But it is the Star Times Stadium at Lugogo that promises potentially an explosive one when hosts KCCA welcome daring Onduparaka.

Onduparaka’s reverse fixture last season was disastrous, the West Nilers being hit for seven without reply.

But they return in a much better place. Onduparaka, presided over by coaches Livingstone Mbabazi and Leo Adraa, arrive leading the table with five others on four points, while KCCA are 10th with just two points.

Caesar Okhuti is Onduparaka’s man of the moment having scored a brace in the 2-0 victory at Maroons on Saturday, while KCCA’s only goal of the season so far is Muzamir Mutyaba’s in the 1-1 draw with UPDF.

KCCA are still without injured Saddam Juma but welcome back Jackson Nunda from a layoff.

Mutyaba and Okello will have to do much better against a resilient Onduparaka than they did at home to Maroons and away to UPDF, while Derrick Nsibambi can’t wait to get off the mark.

Onduparaka will continue to count on Okhuti’s goals and Gadafi Gadinho’s craft to break down the champions.

In the rest of the games, Maroons welcome URA in Luzira with both teams looking to bounce back from defeats to Onduparaka and Kirinya-Jinja respectively.

Mbarara City, fresh from spanking Express 1-0 at the weekend, entertain Bright Stars at Kakyeka Stadium in buoyant mood, while Masavu will hope to build onto their 1-0 win over Proline when they travel to Kavuma to face off with Soana.
