Saturday result
Gaddafi 1-0 KCCA
KCCA will finish second in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) regardless of the result in their final match of the season at home to Wakiso Giants next weekend.
This despite a 1-0 away defeat at Gaddafi on Saturday, in which Alex Kitatta lone goal proved the winner.
Their ending the season in second place with a game to spare was helped by URA losing 3-2 to Busoga United.
The Pilsner Man of the Match, Kitatta, scored the winner on 45 minutes to ensure safety with just one match left to play.
The Jinja side, Gaddafi, are ninth level on 34 points with Onduparaka, who are right below them, in the 16-team league table.
KCCA have a disappointing 56 points in second place, a massive 15 behind champions Vipers with both teams left with one game each to play.
