- MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo 6.30pm
KCCA’s interim coach Jackson Magera is aware of the need to pick the first season points when his side host NEC at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
The Kasasiro starts a new era following the sacking of Portuguese Sergio Traguil who has only been in charge of league matches but without a point.
“The main target is to see how the club can get out of that situation, and we’re trying as much as we can to see that the players get well mentally, physically and tactically,” Magera told the club media.
“We have to get into our game against NEC well prepared and get the result wanted of us.”
Moses Waiswa and Derrick Ochan who had fallen out with the Portuguese coach maybe recalled after they were sighted in training.
KCCA will be wary of the threat posed by their former players Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Brian Kayanja as well as on form Allan Mugalu and skipper Marvin Kavuma.
NEC have dropped only three points out a possible 12 and are yet to lose at home, which they share with KCCA.
