Champions KCCA have a chance to trim Vipers lead at the summit to two points if they can beat rivals Express on Saturday at Lugogo.

The game comes 24 hours after URA beat Vipers 3-1 to blow the title race wide open but that will only count if the Kasasiro win at home to the Red Eagles.

Mike Mutebi could have Julius Poloto, Samuel Kato, John Revita and Sadat Anaku back for selection after they missed the dull draw at Vipers on Tuesday.

But former Red Eagles’ Mike Mutyaba, Ibrahim Sadam Juma and Erisa Ssekisambu will be the main actors for KCCA who are on 45 points after 22 games.

On the other hand, Wasswa Bbosa who has won two games in charge since his return to Wankulukuku will hope the tide continues.

He will hope his Franks (Kalanda and Ssenyondo) as well as Eric Kambale are in fine goal scoring form if they are to leave Lugogo with something tangible.

At the back, Cyrus Kibande, Isa Lumu and Arthur Kiggundu will be required to keep things tight.

The visitors have had some nightmares at Lugogo this season losing to Proline (2-1) and Police (6-1) and have as lost all their previous three visits to KCCA.

With 27 points in 10th position, the fight for relegation isn’t done for the six time champions which spices up the fixture.
