KCCA Vs FUS Rabat – StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo @ 4pm
All roads lead to the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo where Azam Uganda Premier League champions KCCA host Morocco’s FUS Rabat in the penultimate match of group A in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The two sides head into the game level on points and for KCCA to stand any chance of reaching the last eight must earn maximum points against the 2010 champions.
KCCA manager Mike Mutebi is boosted by the availability of Ibrahim Saddam Juma who was barred from featuring for the club until the opening of the domestic window.
Also available is magical left footed midfielder Jackson Nunda who has been out for more than a year due to injury.
The manager has promised to name arguably his best team in his stint at KCCA since joining the club two year ago.
“Sunday perhaps provides me chance to pick my best XI ever,” he said.
With all teams on same points, Mutebi also emphasized the need to win by a decent score line.
“The most important thing is victory but getting a decent result will be vital.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Ochan is a doubt for the clash and the manager says Charles Lukwago starts in goal with Ochan only fit for the bench whilst Douglas Kisembo is also out.
Defender Habib Kavuma is also out of the game thanks to the Red Card in the 2-1 loss to Rivers United in the previous fixture while Vipers bound Tom Masiko has been omitted from the match day squad.
