Stanbic Uganda Cup holders KCCA reached a record 18th final after humiliating Synergy 9-0 in a return leg played at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo on Thursday.

The hosts had won 1-0 in Masaka in the first leg of the two legged semi-finals and thus reach the finals with a 10-0 aggregate victory.

Patrick Kaddu was the main man for the hosts bagging a hat trick while Allan Okello and youngster Steven Serwadda netted a brace each.

Jackson Nunda added the other in a perfect performance from Mike Mutebi’s charges that missed the services of three national team players, Muhammad Shaban, Timothy Awany and first choice goalie Charles Lukwago.

It’s the third final for the Kasasiro in the past four seasons and now wait for the winner between Vipers and SC Villa who face off in the return led on June 5 at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
