KCCA open six-point lead

Wednesday Result
KCCA 2-0 Bul
KCCA went six points clear at the Uganda Premier League (UPL) summit following a 2-0 victory over Bul at StarTimes Stadium on Tuesday.
Paul Kaddu’s ninth goal of the season and substitute Suleiman Mutyaba’s second half finish were enough to send KCCA to 44 points, with second placed Vipers at 38.
Mutyaba, who came on for Allan Okello, also had his free kick go in and out off the upright, but action must have been too quick for officials to notice.
TV replays showed it was a legitimate goal. Bul remain fourth on 30 points following the defeat.
Bul’s biggest highlight was when Timothy Owori’s ambitious 40-yarder attempt beat Charles Lukwago in KCCA goal but went just over the bar.
KCCA took the lead when Bul goalkeeper Hannington Sebwalunyo dropped the ball and Kaddu poked it away to glide home the opener on 64 minutes.
With 10 minutes to go, Julius Poloto was felled on the right and the resultant free-kick was met at the far-post by an unmarked Suleiman Mutyaba for 2-0.
