Fourteen time champions KCCA will be desperate to return to the top of the table when they lock horns with Maroons at Lugogo on Saturday.
Currently occupying second slot after Villa’s win over Busoga United, they must avoid faltering against an on form Maroons who won the reverse fixture 1-0 in Luzira.
“We face a side that beat us in the first leg and have not lost in their last four league games, winning four and drawing one,” said Byekwaso.
“We are ready for them even after going one month without playing a league game for us. There are a number of things we have worked on during this period and I am hoping the players can put them into practice.”
KCCA haven’t played in the premier league since February when they saw off Arua Hill while Maroons have played four and lost none.
But before the Lugogo fixture, Bright Stars will host URA at Kavumba in the day’s early kick off. Both teams lost their last outings and will be eager to recover immediately.
The reverse fixture ended in a 2-2 draw at Nakisunga as URA threw away a two goal lead allowing Stars to salvage a point.
