Fufa Super Cup result

KCCA FC 3-0 Paidha Black Angels

Last season’s double champions KCCA saw off Paidha Black Angels 3-0 on Saturday at Wankulukuku Stadium to retain the Fufa Super Cup.

KCCA won the league and Uganda Cup for the first time in their history last season, and also came into Saturday’s encounter as the Super Cup defending champions.

New signing from Maroons, Patrick Kaddu and the two Okellos – Allan and Tito – scored in the sixth, 34th and 43rd minutes respectively to give Mike Mutebi’s men victory ahead of Tuesday’s Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) kick off.

The Fufa Super Cup is the customary curtain raiser to the new AUPL season. The trophy and winners medals were handed over by Fufa President Moses Magogo and his 2nd vice president Darius Mugoye., with KCCA goalkeeper Charles Lukwago being voted man of the match.

KCCA begin their league title defence at home to Maroons on Tuesday at the Star Times Stadium with the champions hoping to hit the ground running.
