- KCCA vs Police – MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo 4pm
- MYDA Vs UPDF – King George IV stadium, Tororo 4pm
KCCA host Police in the Lugogo derby with either targeting maximum points to keep leaders in sight.
The two sides face off at the MTN Omondi stadium with KCCA in fourth on the table with 26 points, two points ahead of 5th placed Police.
A win for KCCA will lift them to 3rd on the table and within a point of joint leaders Vipers and URA who face off on Saturday in a lunch time kick off.
Police will go fourth with victory, just four points off leading pack.
“Currently, we are going to face a Police side that plays good football,” said Mike Mutebi. “Whoever is effective on the day will win but we expect to do better to pick a good result. The previous records don’t matter,” he added.
KCCA have in form players in Charles Lwanga, Sadat Anaku, Bright Anukani and former Police winger Samson Kigozi and they will be tasked to unlock the Cops defence.
At the back, Peter Magambo remains the key man to stop league leading top scorer Brian Mayanja Muruli, veteran forward Henry Kisekka and the silky Johnson Odong.
In defence, Muhamood Hassan will be vital for Police if they are to end their winless run against the Kasasiro and so is Tonny Mawejje in the middle of the back.
At Tororo, UPDF visit MYDA with the hosts in search for their first maximum points.
