KCCA saw off city rivals Express with a 3-1 win at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso.
Sadat Anaku, Mike Mutyaba and an own goal from Muhammad Yiga were enough for the visitors who have now won four in as many league games in succession.
Anaku opened the scoring in the 14th minute getting at the end of Jackson Nunda pass and four minutes later, Mutyaba doubled the lead with a half volley off Erisa Ssekisambu cross.
The Red Eagles had a better second half but then conceded a killer in the 72nd minute with Yiga deflecting Mustapha Kizza ball into his own net.
Fred Kalanda cut the deficit with a goal from a penalty three minutes later but it was too little too late as Express lost their 7th game of the season.
KCCA jump to fifth on the log with 19 points while Express are 11th with 14 points.
