KCCA reached the final round of the Caf Champions League qualifiers with a hard fought 2-0 win over Namibia’s African Stars at Lugogo.

Mustafa Kizza and Allan Okello scored in the last ten minutes to break the visitors’ resilience.

The Namibian side came into the game with a slim 3-2 lead and gave the Uganda Premier League champions a tough game where they created numerous goal scoring opportunities but were let down by poor finishing.

Kizza scored from a free kick in the 81st minute after Mike Mutyaba was fouled near the edge before Okello doubled the lead with two minutes to the 90 minute mark.

KCCA will now face the aggregate winner between Petro de Luanda of Angola and Lesotho’s Matlama in the next round.
