KCCA thrash Proline to lift Super Cup

Super Cup final result

KCCA 4-1 Proline

Erisa Ssekisambu scored a brace as KCCA thrashed Proline 4-1 to lift the 2019 Fufa Super Cup title at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo on Wednesday.

Allan Okello and Ramathan Musa added the others for the champions while an unfortunate own goal by KCCA defender Peter Magambo salvaged Proline a consolation.

The Ugandan champions have now won four successive Super Cup titles and sixth overall out of the eight editions.

For his first goal for KCCA, Ssekisambu pounced on Proline goalkeeper Hassan Matovu’s blunder direct home before an Okello customary drive into the top corner made in 2-0 at half time.

KCCA got their third after the break when Ssekisambu beat the offside trap to round the goal keeper.

Proline then pulled one back when KCCA goalkeeper Charles Lukwago’s failed catch went in off Magambo’s shin on 81 minutes.

But Musa stabbed the fourth home for KCCA in the dying minutes for 4-1.
