  • Bright Stars Vs KCCA – CS, Mwererwe 4pm

KCCA make a short trip to Champions Stadium, Mwererwe on Saturday wary of the threat posed by hosts Bright Stars.

The two teams played to a goalless draw in the first round fixture and Morley Byekwaso admits their hosts are stubborn but they have enough quality to pick three points.

“120% that we are going to take this trophy,” said Byekwaso when asked about his side’s chances of winning the league. “I don’t care about Vipers games but I think those games are bit hard compared to the fixture,” he added.

Fred Kajoba, the Bright Stars coach is confident of picking maximum points despite admitting KCCA have better a squad than his side.

“My team is ready, we are more than ready,” said Kajoba. “KCCA is a very good team and have better players than we have,” he admitted.

But as a coach, I ensure we play as a team and think we are ready to attack them, to play good football.

The visitors will miss the services of injured Muzamiru Mutyaba as well as three Hippos stars Allan Okello, Julius Poloto and Mustafa Kizza.

Eyes will be on strikers Nelson Senkatuka and Muhammad Shaban who are vying for the golden boot.

The former leads the goal scoring charts with 15 goals while Shaban has two adrift.
