Kirinya-Jinja 1-0 Onduparaka

Fred Amaku continued to be the main man for Kirinya-Jinja as the striker struck again in in the 1-0 win over Onduparaka on Saturday.

The center forward scored in the 16th minute as Charles Ayiekho’s men recorded their eighth league victory of the season.

A long ball from captain Godfrey Akol found a well positioned Musa Esenu, who brushed it into the path of Amaku, the striker smashing it past Onduparaka goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato from close range.

This was Amaku’s seventh goal of the season, three shy of leading marksman Daniel Sserunkuma.

Onduparaka remain fourth on 29 points, one more than Jinja just below them.
