The managerial changes in the Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) continue with the latest being at Kirinya Jinja SS.
The newly promoted side has announced signing former URA, SC Victoria University and Bul Coach Alex Isabirye on a one year renewable deal.
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Alex Isabirye Musongola as First Team Head Coach on a one year deal contract that includes the option of a further season,” read the club’s statement on its official Facebook page.
The three time Uganda Cup winner who recently resigned at Bul was equally delighted with the appointment.
I am very excited about the prospect of working at K-JSSFC. I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the club and the day to day challenge of competing in the Azam Uganda Premier League and the Uganda Cup as well. I am happy the club has made the announcement now so everything is clear and we can end the speculation and begin serious work immediately. K-JSS FC has got a young talented squad which is capable of winning big things and i believe working together as a team we can archive our goals and objectives.
Club Patron, Diana Hope Nyago said she was excited the club had gotten one of the most respected and experienced people in the game.
We are very pleased to have recruited one of the most highly regarded coaches in Ugandan football, East Africa and Africa at large and we are equally pleased to do so before the Eastern G4 Tourney and the beginning of the new season. This aids our future planning and i am convinced that our fans will love the spectacular style of football our team will play with Alex.
Isabirye whose main task ahead is to ensure the team keeps its place in the top tier division will work alongside Abbey Bogere Kikomeko (assistant) and Moses Ogirinyi (Goal keeping coach).
