Kitara make a long trip to Bombo to face second from bottom UPDD seeking three points to rim gap on leaders BUL.

The Royals from Masindi are third on the table with 29 points and maximum points off the army side will take them to second position and within two points of BUL who were held to a goalless draw by KCCA on Friday.

The fixtures marks the first time coach Brian Ssenyondo returns to Bombo in the opposite dugout and is aware of what to expect from a team desperate to move up the table.

“We begin the second round with a tricky game against a side that is fighting for their life in the league,” said Ssenyondo.

“They are going to give their all and fight for everything on the pitch but we have made thorough preparations during this short break.

“We’ve had test matches and also strengthened our squad which we feel will match this test and also improve us in the remaining campaign.”

Kitara won the reverse fixture 1-0 in Masindi.
