Gaddafi 3-0 Soltilo Bright Stars

Alex Kitatta grabbed a hat-trick as Gaddafi hit Soltilo Bright Stars 3-0 in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) match played at Kakindu Stadium on Tuesday.

The Jinja side’s second second win in six matches sprung them up three places to seventh on nine points.

Bright Stars had started the season with five straight draws, followed by a 1-0 defeat to SC Villa.

The latest 3-0 loss, quite a heavy one for a team that was immovable at the beginning of the season, points to coach Asaph Mwebaze side’s wheels seemingly coming off fast.

Bright Stars lie 11th on five points from seven matches. They have scored four goals and conceded eight.

Three of the eight came on Tuesday, Simon Sserunkuma setting up Kitatta for the latter’s and Gaddafi’s three goals, coming on six, 77 and 83 minutes.

The return was enough to earn Kitatta the Pilsner Man of the Match accolade.
