Kiwanuka back at Bright Stars as Head Coach

Bright Stars have re-appointed Paul Kiwanuka but this time as Head coach.

Kiwanuka was assistant to Fred Kajoba at the club for a long time but now returns minus his ex-boss taking over the top coaching job at the club.

“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Paul Kiwanuka as the new Head Coach of the club until the end of the current season,” the club confirmed through its official communication channels.

He takes over from Muhammad Kisekka who has been in charge since the season started and will be assisted by Simon Peter Mugerwa.

Kisekka has since been deployed by the club in another capacity as the head of Scouting and Youth Development.

Kiwanuka’s first task comes up against Police on Friday afternoon at Bombo but main job will be to save Bright Stars from sinking as they are now 14th on the table with 10 points, one victory and seven draws to show.
