Busoga United 0-1 KCCA

KCCA went joint top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table on six points with leaders Vipers following a 1-0 away victory over newcomers Busoga United in Njeru on Tuesday.

Mustafa Kizza, creator of Allan Okello’s winner in their opener against Wakiso Giants, scored the game’s only goal from a set piece as KCCA won two in two.

The champions are second on the log because of an inferior goal difference to Vipers. Vipers have already scored four goals against one, while KCCA have netted twice without reply.

Busoga have now lost two in two following their opening day defeat to Tooro United at the weekend.

The hosts did put up a fight, only to be broken by Kizza’s deadly free kick six minutes to half time. KCCA held their own to see out the important three points
