KCCA 2-2 Onduparaka

An injury time goal by Boy Bran Fazilinho denied StarTimes Uganda Premier League title challengers, KCCA, all three points as they were pegged back 2-2 by visiting Onduparaka on Tuesday.

Moses Waisswa and Allan Okello scored KCCA’s early second half goals before Emmanuel Okech’s strike in the 88th minute set the stage for Fazilinho’s heroics.

The result denied manager Jackson Mayanja’s KCCA the chance to go top above SC Villa by a point.

As a result, KCCA – who were dropping their first points since Mayanja assumed the interim coaching role about three weeks ago – remain second on 45 points after 23 games.

Relegation favourites Onduparaka stay bottom of a 15-team league on 15 points after 24 matches. They have four matches left.

In-form Waiswa had given the hosts a 53rd lead before Okello doubled the advantage for KCCA six minutes after the hour to send the MTN Omondi Stadium into more celebrations.

But Onduparaka never stopped believing as they looked for a breakthrough. It came two minutes from full time through Oketch before Fazilinho broke KCCA hearts in added time.
