StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) leaders, Vipers SC, re-established their four-point lead at the summit after a narrow 1-0 victory away to Busoga United on Saturday.
Bobosi Byaruhanga scored the game’s only goal in injury time for Vipers to move to 27 points, with Bul the closest at four fewer.
In Wakiso, two first goals from Disan Galiwango and Frank Kalanda, and another after the break from Frank Ssenyondo were enough as Express thrashed hosts Wakiso Giants 3-0.
The victory moved the Red Eagles to ninth on 13 points, with Wakiso a place below on goal difference.
In Luzira, all three goals came in the second half as hosts Maroons came from behind to beat Police 2-1.
Steven Mukwala’s double in the 86th and 88th minutes rendered Ben Ocen’s 53rd minute opener irrelevant as coach Douglas Bamweyana’s boys moved to sixth on 16 points. Coach Abdallah Mubiru’s Police stay second from bottom on five.
At the Fufa technical Centre, Njeru, Muhammed Kyeyune’s second half goal handed Bright Stars all three points as they ran out 1-0 winners over Onduparaka.
