Muzamiru Mutyaba will miss the game against Mbarara

Giants SC Villa, KCCA, Vipers SC and Police will be out to avoid shock exits when they begin their 2018 Uganda Cup crown.

Besides SC Villa who hosts Hope Doves on Sunday at Masaka Recreation Ground, the rest will be away.

Holders KCCA face off against Mbarara FC at Kakyeeka; Police visit Greater Masaka while Vipers are in Kasese to face SC Bronken.

KCCA left for Western Uganda minus key players Muzamiru Mutyaba and Ibrahim Sadam Juma who have slight knocks as well as striker Derrick Nsibambi who returns to training on Monday.

But with Paul Mucureezi, Timothy Awany and Denis Okot in the squad, they are favourites for the tie.

In Kasese, Daniel Sserunkuma is expected to make his debut for Vipers against SC Bronken but the Venoms are without goalie Ismail Watenga who is out injured.

Police FC start life minus Hood Kaweesa with a tricky tie against Greater Masaka but may hand debuts to former Synergy star Pius Kagwa.

In other games, Proline host Nkambi Coffee at Lugogo and Kirinya Jinja SS are away to Seeta United
