For the first time in a long time, a Uganda Premier League match will be played at lunch time.

Busoga United and SC Villa will kick off at 1pm at The Mighty Arena as per a statement from the league CEO Bernard Bainamani.

CHANGE OF KICKOFF TIME FOR M#55 BUSOGA UNITED Vs SC VILLA.

Reference is made to the confirmation of FUFA Technical Centre-Njeru as the venue for CECAFA U-20 Boys Challenge Cup final scheduled for Saturday 5th October 2019, 4:00pm.

Accordingly, M# 55 Busoga United FC Vs SC Villa (Saturday 5th October 2019) match kick off time has been brought forward from 4:00pm to 1:00pm.

The venue remains The Mighty Arena-Jinja. Note that the two venues are a short distance apart.

All parties are advised to take note of the change. The Secretariat regrets any inconvenience caused. In the name of the game.

Last season’s corresponding fixture at the same venue ended in a 2-2 thrilling stalemate on match day one.
