Lwesibawa enjoying time at Tooro

Godfrey Lwesibawa has been quite a revelation since returning to Tooro United team set-up in January.

The right winger has enjoyed some good spells with coach Wasswa Bbosa’s side. The forward has been pivotal in the vanquishing of heavyweights Vipers and KCCA at Buhinga, his probing adding variety into Tooro United as they continue making statements in the topflight league.

His most recent goal was against KCCA in the 1-1 draw in Fort Portal, Suleiman Mike Mutyaba levelling for the visitors at a venue Tooro are yet to lose a game of football.

Formerly with Express and Villa, Lwesibawa believes that such encouraging performances can get him into the national team, even attract bigger signatures from other clubs.

“I want to make up for the lost time (he missed some parts of the first round due to contractual issues),” he said.

“We played our best football against KCCA but sadly we didn’t win. I think they now have much respect for us.”
