Kirinya Jinja SSS FC 1 – 0 Express FC

Joel Madondo scored nine minutes from full time to hand Kirinya all three points in the 1-0 victory over Express in Jinja on Saturday.

Kirinya’s third victory in 10 matches has them in ninth place with 14 points, one ahead of Express in 10th.

Express have fallen on lean times lately, not winning in the last couple of matches.

And here they fell on the sharp end of Madondo’s dagger, the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) leading scorer claiming his sixth of the season.

Express are still trying to reclaim their past glory and it is clearly a work in progress for coach Kefa Kisala.
