Maroons tutor Douglas Bamweyana celebrated his September coach of the month accolade with yet another victory as they beat Mbarara City 2-1 in Luzira on Wednesday.
Steven Mukwala scored deep in injury time to ensure of all three points at a ground owned by Maroons and ironically deemed Mbarara’s home on the day.
Mbarara are still playng their home games in Luzira as their Kacheka Stadium is yet to be approved by Fufa licensing committee.
Pius Obuya had given Maroons a first half lead but it was cancelled out by Jude Ssemugabi of Mbarara.
However, Mukwala’s late intervention saw his side move fifth on 12 points.
Mbarara remain 11th on the 16-team log with eight points from as many games.
