Maroons name Ayiekoh as coach until end of season

Charles ‘Mbuzi’ Ayiekoh has been appointed as coach of Maroons for the remaining part of the season.

The former Bunamwaya, Police and Busoga United coach takes over from Douglas Bamweyana who was sacked after series of poor result since the turn of the year.

Ayiekoh’s task will be to save the Prison side from relegation with five games to complete the campaign.

“I am delighted to have got the Maroons Football Club head coach job. With confidence, I will work with the available players to save the club from relegation” he told Kawowo Sports.

“I have worked with some of the players available at the club and confident that we shall do the job (saving the club from relegation)” he added.

Maroons currently sit 14th on the log with 24 points from 25 games.
