Maroons came from behind to see off bottom side Arua Hill 3-1 in Adjumani in a StatTimes Uganda Premier League match played on Wednesday.

Mansour Safi gave the hosts an eighth minute lead after some good work from John Rogers but Patrick Bayiga, helped by Abraham Tusubira’s craft, leveled for Maroons on 34 minutes.

David Ndihabwe then gave Maroons the lead for the first time in the match on 64 minutes before Issac Mpagi Kajubi put it beyond doubt in the second minute of added time.

This was Maroons sixth win in 12 matches and moves them up to fourth on 22 points, four behind leaders BUL, who have played a game fewer.

Arua Hill, who have won just once and lost nine in 12, stay bottom on five points.

Elsewhere, visitors Kitara stayed third on 23 points after drawing only their third in 12 matches following their stalemate at Mbarara City.

On their part, the Ankole Lions stay ninth on 13 points after 12 games. Action continues on Thursday.
