Maroons have stepped up their preparations for their return to the Uganda Premier League by adding four players to their squad so far.
The former league winners have so far confirmed the signing of midfielders Samson Kigozi (KCCA), Arafat Kakonge (UPDF), defender Jacob Okao (Vipers) and forward Noel Nasasira.
Okao, a product of the Maroons academy before he moved to Vipers JT couldn’t hide his excitement on return to the Prisons club.
A solid-like center back, he previously rose through the ranks at the Maroons Sports Academy before joining Vipers Junior Team and consequently graduating into the senior team enjoying a prestigious career where he was crowned a UPL champion twice at Vipers FC.#WeAreMaroons pic.twitter.com/8yC7JezvXh

“I am really excited to come back home, am happy to rejoin Maroons, I know we shall work together to achieve all our goals as a team. Actually I have experienced a lot, I coming back home to make our team strong and achieve a lot”.
The defender spent last season on loan at UPDF where he was a regular.
Meanwhile, the highly rated Kigozi joins as a free agent after being released by KCCA.
He has previously played for Police where he excelled under the guidance of Abdallah Mubiru.
