After Vipers Sports Club officially confirmed that their return leg game against Enyimba FC of Nigeria would be played on Sunday 28th February 2016 in Nigeria, the Azam Uganda Premier league match 133 between Express and Vipers was post-poned from Tuesday, 1st March 2016 to a future date.
The UPL Secretariat postponed the match since Vipers Sports Club travels back from Nigeria on Tuesday 1 st March 2016.
Vipers lost 2-0 in Nigeria on Sunday to bow out 2-1 on aggregate having won the first leg in Kampala 1-0 courtesy of Erisa Ssekisambu’s goal at Nakivubo Stadium a fortnight ago.
A new date for the match will be communicated in the due course.
Relatedly, AUPL will have one match on Tuesday 1st Match 2016, Simba FC hosting SC Villa at the Bombo Barracks Grounds in a match that will be televised live on Azam T.V.
Sports Club Villa eliminated Sudanese club, Al Khartoum Al Watani F.C 2-0 on aggregate and will play Zanzibar based club, JKU F.C in the first round of the CAF Confederations Cup.
