Mbarara City’s fate in the premier league could be decided on Sunday when they face UPDF at Kakyeeka.

Second from bottom with 22 points, seven points below safety positions, the Ankole Lions must beat the army side to remain with any chances of staying up.

Saddiq Ssempigi will hope his key players Solomon Okwalinga, Henry Kitegenyi and Jude Semugabi show up with lethal boots while at the back, Ronald Otti and company must be water tight to deny UPDF who are chasing finishing in the top half.

Former Mbarara City coach Brian Ssenyondo will be in the limelight against a side that denied him chance to promote Synergy a few years ago.

A loss for the hosts will confirm they join Tooro United as relegated teams with two games to play.
