Mbarara are trying to cope with the absence of injured defender Rashid Muhammad as the Ankole Lions continue probing upwards the Uganda Premier League table.
But the good news for them is they solid defender Ronnie Kisekka has shaken off injuries of his own.
The defender, Kisekka, was in impressive form when Mbarara City drew goalless with Express last week at Wankulukuku, putting up a Man of the Match performance that left the fans and coaches applauding.
“We know what he can do and we are now going to see how he can cope with Hilary Mukundane and Muhammad (the usual partnership),” said Mbarara assistant coach Baker Kasule, “It excites us to have depth in the team.”
The Ankole Lions, riding on a steady attacking force and solid back line, have surprised many by climbing third in the league table.
