Arua Hill 2-0 Blacks Power

Birthday boy Ronald Innocent Media hit a brace as Arua Hill downed Blacks Power 2-0 at the Barifa Stadium in West Nile on Thursday.

The victory in Arua City was the home side’s eighth in 18 StarTimes Uganda Premier League matches. It moved them five places up to fifth on 26 points.

For relegation threatened Blacks Power, it couldn’t get any worse. Their 10th defeat in 19 games keeps them second from bottom on on 15 points.

Media compounded their woes by holding his 19th birthday party right in front of them.

Having come into this game without a league victory this year, Media shot Arua Hill in front on 28 minutes with a close range finish after being set up by Rashid Toha.

The youngster completed his brace in stellar fashion, receiving Innocent Maduka’s pass and rounding goalkeeper Emmanuel Odongkara before shaking the top right corner of the net.
