Abdallah Mubiru has extended his contract with Police to stay on as the club head coach till 2023.

The initial contract expired in January but Mubiru, also assistant coach with Uganda Cranes stayed on and saved the club from relegation.

“Top Police management have renewed the contract of our Club Coach Abdallah Mubiru. The contract was renewed for another three years today at Police headquarters, Naguru. #WeAreCops,” the club posted on twitter.

In the same vein, the club also replaced ASP Francis Kidega with Fahad Lumu as the club Chief Executive Officer.

The move to extend Mubiru’s stay and appoint a new CEO is meant to see the Cops regain its past glory that saw them win the league in 2005 and the Kagame Cup in 2006.
