Mbarara United 2-1 Busoga United

Paul Mucureezi capped a man of the match performance with a goal as Mbarara City beat Busoga United 2-1 in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) match played on Tuesday.

Brian Aheebwa gave Mbarara the lead on 16 minutes before Mucureezi doubled the advantage on the stroke of half time at Luzira.

Ibrahim Mugulusi did pull one back for Busoga on 52 minutes but it was only good for a consolation.

The victory has Mbarara in fifth on eight points while Busoga are four places below on six.
