Muhammad Shaban has become the latest addition to the Vipers SC squad after he penned a two year deal at the club.
The former Onduparaka captain returns to the club where it all started but it will be the first time he features for them in the top division.
“I am thrilled to be joining Vipers SC,” Shaban who returns from a stint in Morocco with Raja Athletic Club said. “I’m looking forward to playing in the Uganda Premier League again,” he added.
“I’m keen to get started and make my contribution to the team’s efforts to win more trophies.”
His coach, Edward Golola was also equally delighted with the capture of the former U-17 international forward.
“Shaban is a very talented and good player,” said Golola. “Our season last year showed us that we need options and quality to add depth to the squad upfront and Shaban is a proven marksman. I’m delighted that he accepted to join us.”
Shaban’s arrival could signal end of the road for Daniel Sserunkuma who is reliably out of contract at the club.
