SC Villa assistant coach Paul Mukatabala has called on the club’s forwards to sharpen up.
The Jogoos have struggled in front of goal netting just eight goals (2 deducted) in as many league matches despite conceding a meager four in the campaign so far.
“We are well off defensively,” he told his club’s official website. “Teams struggle to score against us,” he added.
Now the issue remains with our scoring.
SC Villa will return to action on Wednesday November 15 away to Bul in Kakindu and the former striker thinks the team will have sharpened then.
We shall continue to monitor the players and tell them what to do and how. We need to score if we are to win games.
Only Yubu Bogere of the natural centre forwards has managed to register his name on the score sheet with Alex Kitaata and George Ssenkaaba yet to score this season.
SC Villa sit 6th on the log with 13 points, four adrift of log leaders Police with a game in hand.
