Hitherto URA striker Steven Mukwala has ended his three-year stay at the Tax Collectors by sealing a move to Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
The Ghanaian champions unveiled Mukwala with aplomb a day after the striker himself announced he had left Uganda Premier League (UPL) side, URA.
Mukwala, who will now play in the Caf Champions League with the Porcupine Warriors, penned a two-year contract with Kotoko with an option to extend by another 12 months.
He becomes only the third Ugandan to play in the Ghana Premier League after compatriots Joseph Ochaya and George Abege, who also featured for Kotoko.
Also a Vipers SC former striker, Mukwala leaves Uganda’s topflight league having bagged 40 goals in the past three seasons.
