KCCA manager Mike Mutebi was left at crossroads by the goalless draw against St George in Addis Ababa on Wednesday and reckons the Kampala leg will be even trickier.

Any score draw between the two sides in this Caf Champions League encounter, with a group stage slot up for grabs, will see the Ethiopians progress.

A goalless draw would send the tie into a penalty shootout. All KCCA need to do to progress outright is to simply win the game. But as Mutebi opines, it is not that straight forward.

“It is going to be difficult because we failed to score (away). However we are advantageous because we are home,” argued the coach.

“I would be confident if we played a team that was not creative but I know St George will create chances.”

Mutebi admitted to changing his philosophy in order to contain St George in Addis Ababa.

“Their game approach was good. They made us organize together as a team and forced us not to play our game. We were more defensive to negate their passing.” The two face off in the return leg at StarTimes Stadium on March 17.
